Since 2016, the MFA of the Americas has offered a low-residency advanced degree in Creative Writing that is both experimental and inter-arts embracing all types of language-based making. It takes place in great locations: an international artists residency in January (the architecturally prize-winning Atlantic Center for the Arts) and elsewhere in the Americas in June: past residencies include San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, Santiago, Chile, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and Buenos Aires, Argentina.
